Speech & Drama Foundation Course (for children aged 5-6 years)

We use activities such as mime, storytelling and characterisation to develop young children's natural curiosity and enjoyment of learning. The friendly atmosphere means children feel safe and relaxed, giving them the freedom to explore the power of their imagination.

Speech training (formerly called ‘elocution') is introduced at this stage, laying the foundation for good diction and rhythm in delivery, and complementing their learning at school.

Feedback

We provide formal feedback at our annual parent/teacher meetings, as well as informal feedback throughout the year.

Structure of Course

This is a 30-week course, which runs from September to May. Classes are held once weekly. Tuition fees are payable half-yearly in advance.
